One Direction's Niall Horan's hurt knee gets even worse!

One Direction's Niall Horan sure is in the wars at the moment. The Irish boybander has been on crutches for the past week, and tweeted that it's got worse.
The injury was from an old football injury flaring up, but after performing on it at the Teen Awards it hurt even more! After a fan asked him if he was feeling any better, he replied: "getting better! Obviously performing on it yesterday did not help at all ! So resting it with crutches day"
He recently said that he's going to get his - wait for it - "floating kneecap" (VOM!) operated on soon so that it can be all fixed and less gross and stuff.
He told Capital FM: "A squirrel attacked me. I got attacked by a squirrel in Battersea Park. They'r dangerous. It's rare."
"I've torn most of the ligaments in my knee. So no football for me. It's early retirement now. I've got a floating knee-cap!" Again…gross! But we really do hope Niall will be better soon - how else is he going to leg it from armies of fans? 





In other 1D news, the boys are going from strength to strength. Not only did they get three Radio 1 Teen Awards, and Liam, who recently split up from dancer girlfriend Danielle Peazer, has a new admirer.
Leona Lewis told the Daily Mirror: "He is a really sweet, lovely guy. I'm a fan of One Direction. We have been friends for a year-and-a-half."
